America’s favorite little rascal and DUI enthusiast, Onyango Obama was in court today for the hearing of his drunken joy ride that took place last year in Framingham, Massachusetts. Showing up today in his finest, Obama’s uncle exuded a derelict attitude while seated next to his shyster attorney, P. Scott Bratton.
Aren’t these privileges reserved for only real citizens and not illegal immigrants. Just sayin’. In addition to requesting the driving record of the arresting officer, at the time of the actual arrest, Onyango told police he wanted to contact the White house for his phone call. Yea….right. That comment can’t help, but make me chuckle. And of course didn’t happen. Here are some excerpts taken from boston.com:
After the brief hearing, Bratton told reporters that Obama now has a temporary work permit and plans to appeal a deportation order lodged against him some 20 years ago. Bratton said today that he believed Obama would be back before the immigration court sometime in May to fight the deportation. Bratton predicted the misdemeanor would have “little, if any, impact on his immigration status.”
“He feels good to have it behind him,’’ Bratton told reporters. “It was upsetting to him that he received so much attention.’’
And for those who are slightly unfamiliar about what exactly happened with this wily son of a bitch than here’s a little recap:
Obama, 67, was pulled over by Krishtal [Officer Val Krishtal] in August after Obama rolled through a stop sign as he turned onto Waverly Street. Obama made the turn so quickly that Krishtal, who was driving on Waverly, nearly collided with him, according to a Framingham police report.
Obama, who lives in Framingham, was charged with operating under the influence of alcohol after the test showed his blood-alcohol level to be 0.14 percent, according to the police report.
Wonder what the penalty would be for drunk driving in Kenya? My guess, probably a little stricter.
